Find out who we are as people, as professionals and everything you need to know in order to make the right decision for you.

This is an important time for you. Deciding on the right therapist can be a tough process. There’s risks that come with opening yourself up and we believe it’s important for whoever you choose to work with, to hold this in mind, have themselves travelled the roads of psychological therapy and to practice the principles of their work in their own lives. It’s important for us, that we practice what we preach and live by our personal and professional ethics. We value your right to be you, in each and every unique way; and we’re well aware that this world can often trick us into believing otherwise. Sometimes this world, and others, can be persuasive and damaging.

In our approach to psychological therapy, we will work with you to first understand your struggles and work with you to recognise how well-trodden paths often keep us stuck, facing and repeating the pains of the past. We believe, that sometimes we have to get lost in order to find ourselves, and the right therapy and therapist can explore these terrains with you in partnership. Finding the words, and feeling the unconscious, together we can navigate our way to new grounds and start to pave a way to more hopeful, rewarding and empowering futures. On these journeys, as therapists, we will use a number of tools to help you grow and eventually unearth the healing within your heart. At times, we will simply talk, at other times, we will draw out maps to help us find our way through the fog, and beyond this, we will learn through new exercises and experiences.

Introducing James & Sasha…

Dr James Randall, Clinical Psychologist

I trained as a clinical psychologist at the University of Hertfordshire; a unique, diverse and humble home – which taught me as much about being a human, as it did about the complexities of relationships, psychological distress, and the ethics required to support individuals and communities to navigate an often unjust and unfairly discriminatory society. With over 14 years of working in the public sector supporting people experiencing significant psychological distress, mental health problems, and facing harmful adversities and trauma – I am more than ready, qualified and able to help you find your way through safely.

Although I am trained to support people with most psychological and relational difficulties, I have particular skills in supporting people with:

  • Relationship difficulties and challenges to our sense of self, security and safety
  • Experiences of psychological, physical and sexual abuse
  • Difficulties surfacing from childhood developmental and intergenerational trauma
  • Adapting therapies for neurodivergent people experiencing significant psychological distress
  • Ruptures in family relationships and troubling interpersonal dynamics

I practice from a trauma-informed approach and offer:

  • Cognitive Analytic Therapy
  • Systemic and relational therapies
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

I am trained to safely integrate aspects of Dialetical Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, and Narrative therapy, alongside other techniques and therapies.

Fee: £80 per session (online)

Dr Sasha Priddy, Clinical Psychologist

I am a clinical psychologist, having completed my doctoral degree at the University of Sheffield. Prior to my training, I spent five years working across inpatient adult mental health contexts, including specialist ‘personality disorder’ services, acute wards, psychiatric intensive care, and rehabilitation settings. From working within these services, I have developed an understanding of working with complexity and acute, or chronic, distress; which are often rooted in experiences of trauma, relational difficulties and social inequality. I believe that bringing warmth and openness to the therapy space is integral to fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship, that will allow you to explore the roots to any difficulties you hope to overcome.

My training and experience enables me to work with a breadth of psychological difficulties, particularly relating to adult mental health. However, my skills and knowledge is particularly well placed to work with:

In our approach to psychological therapy, we will work with you to first understand your struggles and work with you to recognise how well-trodden paths often keep us stuck, facing and repeating the pains of the past. We believe, that sometimes we have to get lost in order to find ourselves, and the right therapy and therapist can explore these terrains with you in partnership. • Relational difficulties, including historical relational trauma and how this may influence our ongoing experience of ourselves and others.
  • Experiences of levels of dissociation that may occur as a result of trauma, including working with multiple selves.
  • Experiences of hearing distressing, and non-distressing, voices.
  • Difficulties that may be associated with a diagnosis of personality disorder; such as emotional dysregulation, interpersonal difficulties, self-harm and suicidality.

I practice from a trauma-informed approach and offer:

  • Cognitive analytic therapy
  • Dialectical behavioural therapy
  • Cognitive behavioural therapy

I have experience using and engaged in training for additional therapeutic approaches, which I can also integrate into our work, namely: compassion focused therapy, narrative therapy and mindfulness.
